No "development package" at WTO
The Philippines, on behalf of a core group of 21 developing countries, as well as other states, rejected the EU's proposal to continue with negotiations on trade facilitation during a WTO negotiating group meeting, the source added.They said that the group dealing with the issue could not progress independently of the other areas of the Doha Round, invoking a World Trade Organisation undertaking by which all the negotiations are linked, he added.
